The opportunity… 

A full time opportunity at our head office (Wantirna South Vic) for a competent and fluent operator of Adobe Illustrator that is methodical by nature.  When details are important to ensure the successful rollout of branding for our fleet graphic clients.

This role is positioned as a perfect launch pad for the right person who wants to further their career, with some scope to take on more responsibility as you grow. 

Key Responsibilities 

Layout Information:  Create and interpret existing branding guidelines and apply our vehicle application principles to provide all necessary information for both production and installation where our skilled people will take it from there. 

Pre-Press:  Be methodical and consistent ensuring all details are saved correctly for a consistent output every time. 

Customer Relationships:  Follow simple design requests and briefs from our customers to be able to present layouts for approval to our account managers or clients for approval. 

Teamwork:  Work well within the team to improve existing layouts as well as working through installation feedback and updating information moving forward. 

Process Improvement:  Look for improvements that will provide efficiencies within the Transcal business, this can even include prepress processes that impact production or installation. 

Well Suited for someone who is…. 

• Fluent and efficient using Adobe Illustrator 
• Has previous experience in print prepress, ideally with vehicles graphics 
• Specification and task driven individual who is not necessarily suited to a design role 
• Engineer approach, when it comes to specifications and layout presentation 
• Exceptional communication skills
